Time science … Seeds, Roots and Fruits

I quote a statement of Abdelwahab Al-Messiri in his dairy “My intellectual journey: seeds, roots and fruits” to demonstrate the development of time science.  

– Thirty years ago, in “the Higher Institute of Usul Eddine”: there was a conflict of stalemate, prospect of civilization and winds of change. My supervisor professor Ahmed Moussaoui, the university president back then Dr. Abderrazak Guessoum, including professors like Abderrahmane Merakebi, Mohamed Zini and Dr. Mohamed Nacer and others are all credited

– In the department of literature, there was a conflict of authenticity and unreliability, Dr. Mohamed Nacer was like a school for me, if I can indicate an example in the context of Turath association.  

– Tendency towards caring about heritage, which brought about a number of achievements: investigating manuscripts, glossaries, writing books and cataloguing some others. 

– Tackling problems of civilization .. time is the best indicator of backwardness and civilization. 

– My first research thesis: “considering the psychological situations, time and place circumstances in understanding verses of the Qur’an”.  

– Master’s Degree thesis: “the concept of time in the Holy Qur’an”. 

– PhD Degree thesis: “time programming Usul in the Islamic thought, a comparative study with the Western thought”. 

– A number of books written about “time according to scholars”: Muhammad Iqbal, Ibn Badis, Mohamed Nacer and others. Currently, I am working on time according to Qutb Tfyeche, through his correspondence (about 4000 pages, investigated by Ammi Saïd establishment). 

– Devoted time to work with: Turath association, Algerian Muslim Scholars Association, the research office, scientific schools, Al-Manahidj institute, Higher Institute of Sciences, Rosh cognitive paradigm etc.  

– “Paradigm”, previously known as “paradigm system”, which generated books, projects, attitudes and relations … this structure was branching out in “time science” despite the fact that it was established later. 

– I am grateful for the collective work, collective mind, intellectual deliberation and the new generation of youth. – Praise be to Allah- the last three years, I devoted my entire time to the establishment of time science (which was not psychologically easy, I appreciate everyone for overcoming these hardships).   

– During this intellectual journey, new terminologies, concepts, approaches and cognitive models were generated, some of which were restrictive and some others were “distinctive” like: baptized time, time programming, time programming science, miraculous rhythmic time.     

– Under Namudhj Ar-Roshd (Roshd cognitive paradigm), Rihlat Al-Fata (journey of the boy), Al-Bariq Al-Harij (critical glitter), Al-Kharita Al-Maarifiya (the cognitive map “GPS”), Al-Wiaa Al-Hadari (the civilizational context), Al-Nasij Al-Hadari (the civilizational structure), Harakiyat Al-Fiqr wa Al-fiaal (movement of thought and action), Al-Muttahad Al-Ilmy (scientific community), As-Siyaq Al-Hadari Al-Muta’azzim (backward civilizational context), Kharitat Al-Ilm Al-Jazairi (Algerian educational map), Tafsir Budhur Ar-Roshd (referral to the glossary of Roshd cognitive paradigm).   

The frequent questions are as follow: 

– How can we unlock these achievements?   

– Where can we register them?

– How can we actuate and activate them?

– How not to turn it to a “private property” or even to a cognitive/ intellectual/ civilizational system? 

– Until it was time to reform “the appeal to establish a new science”, it took three years for reading, analyzing, writing and deliberating.     

In order to reach the level of “setting a tradition”, we had to devote all competencies, potential, minds, assistance, talents, individuals and institutions … whether financially or morally, for the subject, approach or the form; we already went through the experience of “Algerian Scholar Award” which tuned in just few years from a ceremony to “a scientific tradition” and we believe that it has made a paradigm shift in our “civilizational context” and needs highly careful consideration.
